There may be more change coming to gun control policy than expected. Vice President Joe Biden told a group of House Democrats Monday that the White House is weighing 19 executive actions for gun control reform. President Obama will announce his proposals to reduce gun violence later this week, and is expected to suggest banning assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and instituting universal background checks. But what about the other 16 executive actions? According to members of Congress, they could include more enforcement of existing gun laws, and even giving the Center for Disease Control and Prevention authority to conduct more research on guns.
