Surprise, surprise. Vice President Joe Biden’s comments Tuesday are facing criticism from the GOP. During a campaign stop in Danville, Va., Biden said, “[Romney] said in the first 100 days, he’s going to let the big banks write their own rules—unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.” The audience of about 1,000 supporters was roughly half African-American. Romney’s press secretary called the comment a “new low” for the Obama campaign. Biden clarified his remarks later in the day, saying he was referring to Ryan's words that a limited government would "unshackle our economy," and that he had mistakenly said the word "unchained."
