This probably won’t stop people from being offended. CBS added a disclaimer at the beginning of Sunday’s episode of Big Brother in the wake of several of the show’s stars being accused of racism. “Big Brother is a reality show about a group of people who have no privacy 24/7,” the disclaimer read. “At times, the Houseguests may reveal prejudices and other beliefs that CBS does not condone. Views or opinions expressed by a Houseguest are those of individuals speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS. Viewer discretion is advised.” A number of racist comments had been picked up on the show’s live feeds, with the culprits being revealed as Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman. Several contestants confronted Gries on Sunday, and she called her comments “jokes.”
