Republicans are voting in Washington’s caucuses on Saturday—the last major contest before Super Tuesday. Turnout has been very high, so much so that one caucus location had to turn hundreds of people away. The results are nonbinding, but it may create momentum leading into Tuesday, and Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Risk Santorum, and Ron Paul have all campaigned in the state recently. The state will eventually send 43 delegates to the convention in Tampa. State Republican chairman Kirby Wilbur said, “All of a sudden we’re important and the center of attention. We’re just excited to see people excited.”
