Bill Clinton Gets Key DNC Role

Get ready to party like it’s 1988, Democrats. Former President Bill Clinton is planning on giving the marquee speech at the Democratic National Convention on Sept. 5. The former president will be officially placing President Obama's name into nomination and should outline the need for a second term. The Obama campaign hopes Clinton's presence and oratory skills will rally Democrats and voters across the nation. “There isn’t anybody on the planet who has a greater perspective on not just the last four years, but the last two decades, than Bill Clinton,” said senior Obama strategist David Axelrod.
