The problem is clear, legendary comedian Bill Cosby told reporters: “When you carry a gun, you mean to harm somebody, kill somebody.” In his first public comments on the February shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, Cosby said it is imperative that guns be taken out of the hands of neighborhood watchmen. “Without a gun, I don’t see Mr. Zimmerman approaching Trayvon by himself,” the Cosby Show star said. “The power-of-the-gun mentality had him unafraid to confront someone.
