The value of Bitcoin has dipped below $10,000 for the first time since early December. Hitting a low of $9,199.59 on Wednesday morning, this dip marks a 53% decrease of the cryptocurrency’s peak price of $19,800 per Bitcoin--which only occurred five weeks ago. Other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash have have also plunged in price. This fans the flames of investor fears that regulators, particularly in South Korea and China, may start clamping down on cryptocurrencies, and concerns experts that a Bitcoin bubble is forming and could pop. Warren Buffett recently told CNBC that, “In terms of crypto-currencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending.”
