Black Bear Mauls Florida Woman

Authorities are on the hunt for a black bear that attacked a woman in an upscale neighborhood of Lake Mary, Florida, leaving her with injuries to her face, torso, and legs, and forcing her to get more than 40 stitches in her head. Terri Frana walked out on her patio after her children had left the house and saw five bears in the driveway, eating trash they had pulled out of the garage. One of them stood up on its hind legs and started to maul her, Frana's husband said. Wildlife officials have set traps around the area.
