A black camerawoman for CNN was allegedly attacked at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, with an attendee accused of throwing nuts at her and shouting “this is how we feed animals.” The alleged culprit was removed from the convention, a CNN official told Talking Points Memo. It’s not clear if the accused was a delegate or attending the convention in another capacity. In a written statement, CNN confirmed the incident occurred but refused to give more details.
