Blasts Kill 43 at Pakistan Rally

As floods compromise Army's response to terrorism.

A bomb blast at a rally in the city of Quetta, Pakistan killed 43 people and wounding over 100 on Friday. The attack follows three bombings in Lahore earlier this week, for which the Taliban claimed responsibility. Friday's attack took place at Shi'ite rally in which people gathered to express support for the Palestinian people. Alongside disease, crop destruction and homelessness, a major aspect of the fallout from the floods that have devastated the South Asian nation is its Army's inability to contend with Taliban attacks.
