Mitt Romney’s growing up in their neighborhood is not a deciding factor for Bloomfield Hills voters. Residents of the Michigan city are more concerned with the candidate’s economic experience and other leadership credentials than whether they live within walking distance of the Romney family’s old house. In fact, Romney’s old stomping grounds have not been impervious to the appeal of Rick Santorum. One Bloomfield resident said he chose Santorum over Romney because he is “probably the little more moral of the two.”
