LOOK OUT

Twenty minutes and just a few miles apart.

Authorities said bombs exploded outside two New Mexico churches early Sunday. No injuries or deaths were reported but the blasts occurred just a few miles and 20 minutes apart in Las Cruces, said police spokesman Danny Trujillo. The first bomb went off at about 8:20 a.m. in a mailbox near the administrative entrance to Calvary Baptist while the second exploded in a trash can outside Holy Cross Catholic around 8:40 a.m. Authorities—including the FBI, ATF, and New Mexico State Police—are investigating the blasts to determine if there were any connections as well as the materials that were used.
