The founder of the Florida clinic Biogenesis, Anthony Bosch, told 60 Minutes on Sunday night that he was the one who injected baseball star Alex Rodriguez with performance-enhancing drugs. The interview came just one day after an arbitrator upheld Rodriguez’s drug-related suspension—shortened to 162 games plus playoffs—the longest in baseball history. Bosch told 60 Minutes he had to inject Rodriguez himself as the athlete was “scared of needles.” The list of drugs Bosch said Rodriguez paid $12,000 a month to use included testosterone, insulin growth factor one, human growth hormone, and peptides.
