The surviving suspect of the Boston Marathon bombings, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has regained the ability to walk and talk—enough to call his parents for the first time since he has been in custody and tell his mother that he and his slain brother are innocent. According to the Tsarnaev brothers' mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, Dzhokhar said that he is getting better, but is having a hard time understanding what is happening to him. “I could just feel that he was being driven crazy by the unfairness that happened to us, that they killed our innocent Tamerlan,” Tsarnaeva told the Associated Press. Twenty-six-year-old Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police, and 19-year-old Dzhokhar remains in custody. The father of Ibragim Todashev, a Chechen immigrant in Florida who was killed by the FBI during an interview about his ties to the Tsarnaevs, insists his son was killed "execution style."
