Don’t mess with Boston. Rihanna was booed in Boston on Monday night after showing up for her concert three hours late. The show had been rescheduled from March, when the singer had a bout of laryngitis. As soon as RiRi took the stage, the crowd roared in disapproval and took to Twitter to voice its anger. One former fan: “Boston waited 2 months and then Rihanna was 3 hours late to her packed concert. She deserved to get booed! We were mad as hell.” While some speculate that perhaps Rihanna was still recovering from Chris Brown saying that the two were no longer dating (that was over the weekend), others have a simpler explanation: she was watching the Chicago Bulls play the Miami Heat on television.
