Boy Swallowed by Dune Returns Home

In case sinkholes weren't scary enough, now you have to watch out for human-swallowing sand dunes as well. Earlier this month, a 6-year-old boy was buried 11 feet below the surface of a sand dune for four hours. Now, after a week of sedation and four days of rehabilitative care at a Chicago children's hospital, he's returning home. Geologists are still unable to explain what caused the hole that swallowed Nathan Woessner, but they will be testing the dunes at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for abnormalities.
