A scary reason to pay attention in the stands: an Atlanta Braves minor-league manager has lost an eye after he was hit in the face by a line drive at a spring-training game. Luis Salazar was standing at the top of the dugout when the ball hit him. He fell backward, hit his head, and was airlifted to an Orlando hospital. Salazar still plans to manage the Braves’ class A affilate at Lynchburg this season.
