Talk about a fall from grace: James O’Keefe was arrested on Monday for conspiring to wiretap Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu’s phone, but as recently as last year, House Republicans were introducing a resolution to honor him for his undercover videos exposing ACORN. Fox News, which once named O’Keefe a “Power Player of the Week,” had a reporter cautioning that the new story “probably needs a lot of context.” And Andrew Breitbart, who launched O’Keefe’s ACORN videos and paid him “a fair salary,” is denying any knowledge of O’Keefe’s alleged misdeeds.
