Britney Spears, Curiosity Tweet

It’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Britney Spears tweeted to the Mars Curiosity Rover, jokingly asking how Mars looked since her last visit. “So @MarsCuriosity… does Mars look the same as it did in 2000?” she wrote, along with a link to her video “Oops!…I Did It Again,” which features her romantic adventures in outer space. NASA’s robot took a break from snapping photos of the red planet to get back to the pop princess, responding “Hey Brit Brit. Mars is still looking good. Maybe someday an astronaut will bring me a gift, too. Drill bits crossed ;)” It’s as refreshing to see that pop stars follow the news as it is to know that astronauts have a working knowledge of music videos.
