Tom Brokaw has a request for the president. In an op-ed for the Washington Post, the NBC correspondent tells Obama and soon-to-be Speaker of the House John Boeher to stop smoking and announce it during “a joint appearance on the steps of the National Institutes of Health.” Says Brokaw: “I promise you, it would be a welcome step in clearing the air over the nation's capital.”
