With their respective league championship victories Sunday evening, the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers advanced to the Super Bowl. The Broncos upset the New England Patriots with a 20-18 win, thanks largely to quarterback Peyton Manning and a defensive line that nabbed four interceptions and two sacks of rival QB Tom Brady. Later, in Charlotte, the Panthers crushed the Arizona Cardinals, 49-15, off a series of explosive offensive runs led by quarterback Cam Newton. The Broncos and Panthers will face off for Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 7.
