Ex-convict Alexander Bonds ranted online about corrupt police officers and his poor treatment in prison before fatally shooting a cop on Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. The 34-year-old Bronx man posted a Facebook video accusing police officers of getting away with killing people. “Don’t think every brother, cousin, uncle you got that get killed in jail is because of a Blood or Crip or Latin King killing them. Nah, police be killing them and saying that an inmate killed them,” he said in the video. Bonds was killed a block away after he pulled a gun on police. He was on parole for a robbery case in Syracuse at the time of the shooting, and had been arrested in the past for assaulting a police officer with brass knuckles.
