Anheuser-Busch InBev confirmed it has proposed to take over SABMiller, potentially forming a company that will produce one-third of all the world’s beer. The combined market value of the two companies would be as high as $230 billion, and would bring together brands like Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Peroni, and Grolsch under one roof. SAB Miller has not commented on the terms of the proposal.
