It must be nice to be able to talk about life on the run after all these years. Some of the nuggets: He said he and girlfriend Catherine Greig often crossed the U.S. border into Tijuana using fake IDs to get through security, where he could buy a drug to treat high blood pressure and chest pain without a prescription. In these years, he built an identity that bore no resemblance to the infamous criminal he was remembered to be. But some old habits die hard: He still adhered to the mobster’s code of silence.
