Bullet Hits School Bus in Harlem

GUNFIGHT

No children on board were hurt.

A gunfight broke out in Harlem this morning, sending a bullet into the upper windshield of a parked schoolbus filled with 10 kindergarten-age kids. Luckily, no one was hurt. The shot was one of six to eight fired during the battle and managed to travel over a block to the bus, which was parked in front of Choir Academy of Harlem. Neighbors expressed fear and frustration. “This is a neighborhood filled with children,” said one. “Being a parent and a mother, it's heart-wrenching. And considering what's been happening in the world today, with these types of catastrophic gunfire situations, it makes you wonder, when will it stop?”
