Bus Driver Arrested for Autistic Student’s Death

A California man was arrested for the September 2015 death of a special-needs student in his hot, parked school bus. Armando Able Ramirez, 36, was arrested Wednesday by the Whittier Police Department for his alleged role in the death of Paul Lee, 19, who had severe autism. The student was reported missing after failing to return home from school; he was later found dead in the aisle of the parked bus that had picked him up from home just hours before.
