A bus carrying passengers returning from a Roman Catholic shrine careened off a bridge in southern Italy, killing at least 38 people, including some children. Italian media is reporting that the driver is among the dead. The bus hit 11 cars on the road before flying off the highway and falling about 100 feet into a wooded area below. Police suspect brake problems, but the cause of the accident isn't yet known. Ten people survived the crash.
