Cain Challenged by Iowa

GOP hopeful and Godfather's Pizza mogul Herman Cain might be at the top of the national polls, but he reportedly has a long way to go to turn his campaign into a professional operation, especially in the important state of Iowa, where he has only four paid staffers. During his first trip there in August, Cain's small entourage didn't take any names or phone numbers of supporters, or even distribute stickers or fliers. “This is the most grassroots presidential campaign I’ve ever been involved with,” said Steve Grubbs, newly hired by Cain as his Iowa chairman, and a veteran of the state’s Bob Dole and Steve Forbes campaigns. “Having said that, I think that having my experience will bring some needed organization to the effort. I wouldn’t say that this effort would ever be professionalized.”
