Cal State Fullerton students were allowed to return home just before midnight on Thursday after two men suspected in an armed robbery holed up on campus after a high-speed chase. Police said the suspects and three others were involved in an armed robbery earlier Wednesday, allegedly shooting a store clerk and then leading police on a high-speed chase through four counties. After stopping at Cal State Fullerton—causing classes to be canceled all day—two of the men were captured by police while another two escaped—with one reportedly dashing through a dormitory to elude police. The fifth suspect was caught in Los Angeles after allegedly attempting to carjack a vehicle. The store clerk is currently in critical condition.
