The odd couple is moving into 10 Downing Street. New British Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg held a joint press conference on Wednesday in which they promised to “take Britain in a historic new direction.” Clegg said, “It's a new kind of government, a radical, reforming government where it needs to be and a source of reassurance and stability at a time of great uncertainty in our country, too.” When a reporter asked Cameron about the time he called Clegg a “joke,” Cameron said, "If it means swallowing some humble pie, and it means eating some of your words, I can't think of a more excellent diet."
