Carmelo Anthony is probably going to complete his peak years with the less than stellar New York Knicks. According to a source close to Anthony, his decision to stick with the Knicks will be officially announced on Thursday unless he has a last-minute change of mind (or comes to his senses). Anthony has apparently been debating his choice to stay for weeks. His friend, who was with Anthony this week, said he is “really torn because this is the biggest decision of his career. But he wants to get it done in New York." The Knicks offered Anthony a max $129 million deal over five years. However, the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls also made tempting offers and have the added appeal of not being the Knicks.
