This lawsuit could turn awkward. Nearly a year after his death, David Carradine’s widow filed a lawsuit for wrongful death against a French production company. The Kill Bill star, 72, was found hanging naked in his hotel room last June—possibly after an autoerotic asphyxiation accident, though Thai authorities never released the details of their investigation. The suit alleges that the company failed to properly protect him, even though it had promised to provide the actor with the best possible amenities and an assistant while they shot a movie in Bangkok. On the night he died, the company left him behind for dinner and then did not try to reach him for another hour.
