After seven weeks, the Casey Anthony is coming to a close. The defense and prosecutors made their closing arguments in what became a heated exchange. Judge Belvin Perry declared that both attorneys had violated courtroom behavioral codes. Both later apologized. Defense lawyer Jose Baez was forbidden from raising sexual abuse claims, following earlier allegations that Casey has been sexual abused by her father since age 8. The defense declared that Caylee had accidently drowned in a pool before she was discovered by her grandfather, George. He denies the claims. Prosecutors pointed to evidence of premeditation, including Internet searches such as “chloroform” and “neck-breaking” found at the Anthony home. If declared guilty, Casey will face life in prison or the death penalty.
