CBO: 13 Million More Uninsured If Obamacare Individual Mandate Scrapped

The Congressional Budget Office said on Wednesday that repealing Obamacare's individual mandate would result in 13 million more Americans without insurance by 2027. The analysis comes as Republicans are considering adding a repeal of the provision to their tax overhaul legislation. The CBO also said that scrapping the individual mandate would reduce the federal deficit by $338 billion over the next 10 years.
