CBS's Lara Logan Assaulted in Egypt

CBS correspondent Lara Logan is in a hospital recovering from a brutal beating and sexual assault, the network says. She was reporting for 60 Minutes from Cairo’s Tahrir Square on Feb. 11, the day Hosni Mubarak stepped down, when she was separated from her crew and attacked. Logan was rescued by a group of women and soldiers and flew back to the United States the following day, where she’s been recuperating in a hospital. The attack is one of the worst of 140 such reports of reporters being targeted during Egypt's rising.
