Here's a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black: A drug prosecutor who has covered some of Las Vegas' most high-profile cases was arrested Saturday for buying crack cocaine from a street dealer, according to police. The alleged dealer told police that David Charles Schubert, 47—whom the dealer knew as "Joe”—had been making regular crack cocaine purchases for six or seven months. Police said they found cocaine in Schubert's car, along with a handgun and other ammunition. As chief deputy district attorney, Schubert has prosecuted celebrities like Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton for drug possession. District Attorney David Roger has suspended Schubert and plans to oust him from his position soon.
