Britney Spears hails her closely monitored comeback with an interview and photo shoot just in time for the release of her new album: "I feel like an old person now. I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night... I just feel like an old fart." The 27-year-old pop tart turns introspective about failed marriage and motherhood: "I didn't think my husband was gonna leave me, otherwise, I'd be with my babies 24/7. But since they're almost like twins, they both take care of each other.” She also admits her toddlers learned to curse from her ex.

Hills stars—and popular Us cover subjects—Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have ended their on-again, off-again drama (for now) by eloping. Us has exclusive access to the secret, no-family-allowed and (they claim) spontaneous ceremony. "Why wait?" Montag, 22, asks in the 8-page spread. She and Pratt, 25, have been together for just over two years and already have a canceled engagement under their belt. "With the economy being how it is," Pratt explains, the ceremony cost ,150. Also: no prenup, no baby plans, but perhaps some Pratt puppies. "I don't believe in divorce," Montag adds.

Not that she was ever really down and out, but Reese Witherspoon is now "back on top," according to OK! Hollywood's highest-paid actress "has it all—a red-hot career, great kids and true love with Jake Gyllenhaal." OK! says the star is "in a happy place" and provides a "how to live like" Reese and Jake guide (Jake's "must-read" is To Kill a Mockingbird). The best part? Editors misspelled Ashlee Simpson's name on the cover as Ashley (but they got it right inside).

Despite a denial from her rep, the magazine is sticking to its claim that Angelina Jolie is pregnant. An "insider" says she's "overwhelmed with hormones," while beau Brad finds the whole dad thing "excruciatingly exhausting." Jolie "has confirmed it to her inner circle, plus she's dropping hints left and right," a "pal" says. Also, smiling photos of Jolie when previously pregnant mean "she's the happiest when she's expecting." InTouch says Oprah "seemed friendlier with Brad" than with Jennifer Aniston. Plus: Kate Hudson is "thin for the holidays."

Bodyguard tell-all! Believe it or not, Angelina has "knife-tossing tantrums"; Nicole Richie is "hooked on texting"; Lindsay's a "slob"; and Katie Holmes is under constant watch. Separately, the tab reports Britney had a "devastating series of mental collapses" after one of her sons was treated for an allergic reaction, and Lohan "sobbed on the sidewalk" after a messy fight with GF Sam Ronson in London. "I really want a man again," she reportedly said. For fun, the mag Photoshops Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson's "unwashed" hair 'do on celebs from Barack Obama to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

InTouch's sister publication hedges its bets about Jolie's purported pregnancy, saying she "may" be pregnant again and wondering aloud if she and Jennifer Aniston are in for "a race to the delivery room." In other "baby news," Salma Hayek is "hooked on breast feeding." The mag features an interview with Paris Hilton, who says she's "just taking a break" from boyfriend Benji Madden. L&S also offers six speculative reasons why the Sex and the City sequel might never happen: backstabbing, money, "recession woes," etc.
