The San Diego Chargers will remain in their current city for at least the 2016 NFL season, owner Dean Spanos confirmed Friday. In a note to fans, Spanos expressed a desire to keep the Chargers in the city—despite ongoing negotiations to move them north to Los Angeles—and said he hopes a new stadium deal can be negotiated. “This has been our home for 55 years, and I want to keep the team here and provide the world-class stadium experience you deserve,” Spanos wrote.
