The president of Media for Christ, a Christian charitable organization based in California, said that he was tricked into letting the director of Innocence of Muslims use the charity’s broadcast studio to make the film that inflamed the Muslim world last week. “The final product … bore no resemblance to the film I thought he was making,” said Joseph Nassralla, head of Media for Christ. Nassralla said that he has had to go into hiding out of fears that his life may be endangered due to his connection to the film. Media for Christ broadcasts its own anti-Muslim programs, alongside Christian programming.
