Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say that they are going to release dash cam and body cam videos in the shooting death of Keith Scott in the coming days. Scott's family wanted to see the tapes in their entirety and they should be available by next week. Scott was shot on September 20, after police allege that he held up a gun. They contend that because he had marijuana and a gun, they needed to take action for public safety concerns. The officers said Scott put them in danger prior to shooting him.
