NBC chief Jeff Zucker has released the attack dogs: NBC executive Dick Ebersol, who heads NBC Universal Sports, takes the knives out in an interview with The New York Times. “What this is really all about is an astounding failure by Conan,” Erbersol says, and says it’s “chicken-hearted and gutless to blame a guy you couldn’t beat in the ratings.”
