Amy Winehouse’s signature beehive has been molded into something more creative than a Marlboro holder thanks to a British pop artist who depicted the notorious singer as a 1950s housewife in a screenprint. Veteran U.K. silkscreener Gerald Laing moved Winehouse’s cigarette from behind her ear to her mouth, kept her in a wife-beater tank top (with accompanying peeking bra straps), and put her to work with a vacuum. Raye Cosbert, the songstress’ manager, found the image of Winehouse as a domestic goddess and purchased the artwork for his client as a birthday present. “She absolutely loves it,” Cosbert says. “It takes pride of place in her Camden home.”
