WikiLeaks has released its much-anticipated Iraq War Logs, a massive trove of some 400,000 documents that alone constitute the biggest leak of military secrets in U.S. history. The explosive document dump reveals as many as 15,000 unreported civilian deaths, and undercuts the official Pentagon line that it doesn't keep records of noncombatant casualties. Other revelations include hundreds of uninvestigated incidents of rape, torture, abuse, and murder, allegedly committed with impunity by the Iraqi police and military. WikiLeaks released the documents to The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Al Jazeera, and The Guardian. The prime suspect in the leaks is Private First Class Bradley Manning, currently under investigation for earlier leaks, including the 90,000-document Afghan War Logs. At The Daily Beast's Innovators Summit in New Orleans, Gen. Stanley McChrystal slammed WikiLeaks for the reveal, saying, "I think it's sad," and it poses "threats to comrades."
