New traveling advice for executives heading to Davos, Switzerland next week: don't forget the women. The famous yearly gathering for the global elite is instituting a gender quota for a group of about 100 companies, including Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, participating in the conference. For every five executives that jet to the well-heeled event, one woman must be included. The group of "strategic partners" required to participate in the gender rules accounts for about one-fifth of attendees. Last year 17% of participants at Davos were women. "Closing gender gaps has been an important concern at the World Economic Forum for the last decade," said one official.
