Press, meet your new punching bag: Joe Biden's director of communications, Jay Carney, will replace Robert Gibbs as President Obama's press secretary. Carney was previously a longtime journalist with Time Magazine. President Obama will announce several staff changes on either Thursday or Friday, including two new deputy chiefs of staff, Nancy-Ann DeParle and Alyssa Mastromonaco. DeParle will focus on policy, while Mastromonaco will focus on politics.
