Don’t they have more important suits to be filing? The lawyers of convicted murderess Amanda Knox and her alleged accomplice Raffaele Sollecito have threatened to take the TV channel Lifetime to court if it airs a planned film about Knox’s case. A trailer of the film on Lifetime's website showed salacious scenes—including ones of the victim being attacked—that Sollecito's attorney said were "beyond any logic." The victim's father was equally disturbed by the clips, declaring them "absolutely horrific." Lifetime's offices were unresponsive on Saturday, when attorneys Carlo Dalla Vedova and Luca Maori said they had sent letters threatening to go to court to sequester the film if it isn't cancelled and the trailer not immediately removed from Lifetime's website. The film is scheduled to air on February 21.
