Michelle: Obama's Quit Smoking

President Obama has finally kicked his cigarette addiction, according to the first lady. “Yes, he has,” Michelle proudly said in an interview today. “It’s been almost a year.” The president has had a long struggle with cigarettes, admitting during the first years of his presidency to an occasional smoking fix. Simultaneously, though, he has advocated against the practice—not to mention supporting his wife’s health and nutrition campaign, too. But Obama has claimed to quit before. “Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes,” Obama said back in June 2009, when he called himself a “former smoker.”
