Police have charged four people from Indianapolis for attempting to sell a baby girl to a child molester. The Indianapolis Star reported that Rose Faucett, 36, and Philip Hester, 58, were initially arrested on Friday for perversely scheming to sell their newborn baby for $300 to molester Michael Overby, 57, and his sister Debbie, who has previously been convicted of felony child neglect. Michael Overby is also facing allegations of forgery for signing documents declaring he was the baby's biological father. The four are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. All will remain in jail until the hearing except for Debbie, who was released on bail but declined to comment on Monday.
