The new rightwing government of the Netherlands has banned tourists from using the country’s famous cannabis “coffee shops.” Under the new law, only Dutch citizens will be able to enter, and even they will face new restrictions: They will have to sign up for a year’s membership at a specific institution, which will only be allowed to have 1,500 members. Get there while you can, as the policy will not take effect in the whole country until the end of next year.
