The “Lockerbie bomber” Abdel Basset al-Megrahi, released from a Scottish prison in 2009 with a prognosis of just three months to live, may now be at death’s door step: CNN discovered Megrahi in a luxurious Tripoli villa, breathing with assistance, “comatose" and “near death.” “We just give him oxygen,” his son said. “Nobody gives us any advice.” His son says they pulled him from a hospital right before the rebels invaded Tripoli and that the rebels have looted all their medicine. The rebels have said that they will not extradite Megrahi to another country.
